:"D So, yesterday I went to my friend's school concert. She's in the vocal jazz team. They started it off some really good peices! One was this dude playing he xylaphone with FOUR sticks! It was really fun to watch.

And it was a really long song! So I was very impressed, he never missed a note!
There was also this middleschool group, who had been given a very bad couple of songs to sing. :I One made them pull certain notes out of the air without any help, and when you're that age, you're not always sure the note you're trying to make, will come out with the voice you have. And the other gave them too much dancing to have them focus on singing, so both the dance AND the singing was bad.
There was also this double bass player, who was really funny. XD But he missed tuning ONE string. :I So while he was playing one note was off everytime. But he still made it work!
My friend's part, and her solo, wasn't till the second half of the show, but we got a 15 minute intermission and we all got food! I GOT BUFFULOWINNNGS~ So yummeh.

I also got fried chicken, and some asian noodle stuff. :"3 Mmm~ *Cough* But enough about the food.
When we got back in, the FIRST singer who was next was this AMAZING girl who sung an opera peice from the opera of Romeo and Juliet! She had some amazing talent, and obviously, alot of vocal training. Very classicaly trained.
The next girl sung a very cool and funny piece! She had alot of talent aswell, but maybe not as much vocal training. She seemed more of a "Natural" singer. The song was called "I can do better than that" and it was awesome! :"3
After a couple of more numbers (I think, I have a bad memory sometimes. xD) my friend's group came up! The first one she did was the one with her solo!

And she did great! I was so impressed! Even when I was in my church choir, I was always too scared to ever do a solo. So I admire people that can do that without being scared! >w< And then...my absolute FAVORITE part of the show. :"D The number, or numbers, my friend's group sang...It was written with the title of "Do you remember..." on the paper they gave us listing the songs. :"3 And they started out with "OUT OF THE BOX! OUT OF THE BOX. OUT OF THE BOX!" And I freaked. It took me a moment, but I was so stunned! They started singing ALL my favorite old kiddy show songs! Nostalgia hit me full force and I was so excited. They sang the theme for Out Of the Box, SpongeBob Squarepants (Of course. XD), Dragon Tales', and the last one...and my most loved. Since as a child while my grandparents were still alive, they always had me watch it at their house to keep my busy. I even have a doll of the main cast girl! They sand the ending theme to BIG COMFY COUCH! I was nearly in tears. xD And I'm not one to normally cry, but some things just hit home on me I guess. At the end I clapped so hard, and then did the "Rocker" hands as they left the stage. XDD
After that my mom had to get back to work, so we went home. I can't wait to see the video of all this! I'm not one for most social events, but I was very happy I came! I had an absolutely great time!
